Our Mission Statement

Innovative Solutions for Electrical Systems

Personal commitment to our customers’ needs has been the key to our success at St. Clair since the business began. Although the company originated as a tool and die manufacturer, we started building wiring harnesses for the industrial and commercial heavy truck and automotive industries in 1968.

In the late 1970’s, we sold the tool and die business and began an alliance with General Motors, the world’s largest supplier of automotive wiring. Over the next 15 years, our business expanded to two plants with over 500 employees and over 100,000 square feet of manufacturing area. At the same time, our expertise in the industry grew immeasurably as we kept pace with state-of-the-art manufacturing processes, systems and procedures.

Although we still count General Motors among our valued customers, we made the decision in late 1993 to enter the global wire harness and systems marketplace. To fulfill this commitment, we recognized the need to expand our capabilities and become a full service supplier. To achieve this, we have established an in-house engineering department staffed with highly skilled professional electrical engineers who can assist with any phase of system design from concept to manufacture. The efforts of our engineers are supported by the latest in CAD technology and a continually improved computer system that facilitates our internal processes along with the EDI and bar-coding requirements of our customers.

St. Clair Technologies remains a customer-driven company, dedicated to providing cost-effective, value-added solutions to your needs. We look forward to sharing our expertise in the electrical systems business by forming new and lasting full-service partnerships based on our ability to supply leading-edge technology today, tomorrow, and beyond the 21st century.

Your needs are our opportunities…
